Within Copart Automotive, we have specific teams, focused on delivering high-value services to businesses of all sizes by providing a specialist remarketing solution that best suits the needs of the individual customer.  

Businesses of all sizes work with Copart because of our ability to achieve great returns at auction on sub-optimal vehicles, in a quick and hassle-free way. Our combination of a patented, online, ‘live-lane’ auction, specialist account management, and a global buyer base provides a unique service which is unmatched across the vehicle remarketing sector.

Nick’s role at Copart is to help new customers realise returns on their vehicles, working with them to provide specialist remarketing solutions through our 100% online auctions, and wide range of additional, added-value services.

We also work with many regionally based businesses throughout the UK who benefit from the more localised support provided by our Regional Accounts team. 

Matthew Boswell, Head of Automotive Regional Accounts, leads this team – who are located across the country – to provide that localised support, alongside our nationwide vehicle collection services and global auction.

A continually evolving suite of products and services 

Whilst Copart have provided a purely online auction in the UK for over a decade, we work tirelessly to continually develop and evolve our suite of technology, which is specifically designed to create value for our customers.  

Over the last year, we have quickly launched online bookings to provide a safe and efficient way for our customers to continue to purchase and collect vehicles from our nationwide Operation Centres.

Alongside this, our owned fleet of over 400 vehicle transporters continues to collect more and more vehicles on behalf of our customers, with 97% collected within one working day. 

With this increase in customer collections, we launched our Owner Connect service, which allows our customers to arrange collections through an online form and provides regular updates on the collection date, enabling a swift and hassle-free collection.  

More recently, we have launched Copart’s GO App – a brand-new service which enables our customers to list vehicles for sale in our global online auctions using just a smartphone, from the comfort of their own premises.  

A nationwide network of owned, connected Operation Centres 

Underpinning our patented, online auctions is a network of connected, nationwide Operation Centres and an owned transport fleet which enables us to collect and deliver vehicles quickly and efficiently.

Maintaining an incredibly high standard of operational excellence is key to delivering a truly outstanding online experience, and our entire operation has been constructed to support our online auctions, from day one.  

Our robust network of Copart Operation Centres, located strategically across the UK, gives us the advantage of both operational expertise from over 1,100 employees and unrivalled storage capacity of over 400 acres in total. 

We’ve recently announced major expansion plans for our Bristol Operation Centre, making this location set to become a 63-acre Super Centre for the South West, alongside other expansions in Wisbech and York and continuous improvements at our other existing Centres.

We’re very proud to have been awarded our sixth ISO accreditation this year, the ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management Standard, a globally recognised standard which is designed to help businesses prevent, prepare for, respond to, and recover from, unexpected and disruptive incidents and threats.
