Copart Joins the CAPS® Community to Enhance Efficiency

We’re playing our part in providing a seamless, secure, and transparent claims experience for all by joining the CAPS® community!

CAPS® (Common Automotive Platform Standard) connects the industry and makes communications within the claims and repair process more efficient by sharing real-time information with all the major bodyshop management systems and claims applications.

CAPS® can connect every repairer in the UK that operates a compatible system. There are currently over 1,000 CAPS® enabled bodyshops across the UK using the platform to update key milestones in the repair process and share vital information.

We’ve seen the number of people involved in the claims and repair process continue to grow, often meaning multiple systems are often being used – duplicating workloads, slowing down repair times, and increasing costs.

“Speed and ease” has always been our mantra at Copart when it comes to the claims journey and our integrated systems give us a unique ability to work directly with our customers to deliver exactly that.  

Joining the CAPS® community was a natural next step for us to help further connect the industry, encourage full transparency, and eliminate unnecessary delays.
