We are proud of our continuous investment into Copart Apprenticeship schemes, which offer our teammates the chance to learn new skills, gain industry recognised qualifications, and potentially progress within our business.
Copart Apprenticeships form an integral part of our ongoing Copart Cares CSR strategy, which includes a strong focus on caring for our teammates through learning and development and by providing further education and vocational qualification opportunities.
By having the opportunity to learn new skills and techniques that are current and relevant, our apprentices can share and integrate what they have studied to benefit our wider business, enabling Copart to provide even higher levels of service to our customers.
Earlier this year, when Copart was awarded the prestigious CCA Global Standard Accreditation by the Customer Contact Association for a second year, we were highly commended for our focus on the personal development of our people and our investment into apprenticeships.
To date, we have supported the personal development of over 100 teammates through a wide range of Copart Apprenticeships in the operational areas of our business.
The apprenticeships currently being offered at Copart, as of June 2021, are:
- Business Administration Level 3
- Customer Service Practitioner Level 2
- Customer Service Specialist Level 3
- Team Leader / Supervisor Level 3
- Operations or Departmental Manager Level 5
- Large Goods Vehicle (LGV) Driver Level 2
- Vehicle Damage Assessor Level 4
We regularly review the range of apprenticeships which are available and aim to identify those which are relevant to our business, individual job roles, and specific career paths within Copart.
With this in mind, we are now also developing apprenticeships in specialist areas of our business based at our Head Office, including Audit, Finance, HR, IT, Marketing, Sales, and Legal.
In addition to the obvious benefits of personal development and progression pathways for our teammates, Copart Apprenticeships also contribute to ongoing success of our business.
The newly acquired skills of our apprentices will help Copart to continually improve and deliver the high standards of service and performance that our customers have come to expect.
