Copart were delighted to take part in the Annual One Call World Cup event, competing against other teams from across the insurance industry in a 5-aside football tournament to help raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Now in its 5th year, the popular tournament, which is organised by One Call Insurance, took place at The Keepmoat Stadium, Doncaster with entrance fees from all teams going to the Macmillan Cancer Support Pod at Doncaster Hospital.
The Pod provides support, information and advice, to help people affected by cancer. They aim to provide a friendly, private environment for patients, carers and family members affected by cancer, to access appropriate information and support, from managing symptoms to advice on benefits and financial support.
Team Copart had a great day and enjoyed the opportunity to support such a worthy cause. We were delighted to contribute towards achieving a fundraising goal, with the event beating last year’s success by raising a record breaking £6,626.38 for Macmillan.

The tournament took place during the heatwave with temperatures well over 35 degrees, so it was quite a challenge for everyone, but it was a great day for a great cause, and we’re thrilled to have been part of it. An amazing effort and well done to everyone involved.”
