Our Quarter 3 Copart Superstars

by | Aug 2, 2020

We’re pleased to announce that in Quarter 3, we have recognised 26 teammates across our business as Copart Superstars for their outstanding achievements and hard work.

At Copart, we are committed to recognising our teammates, and it is more important than ever right now to keep teams motivated and engaged throughout the various challenges posed by the current pandemic

We appreciate that employees may have concerns about their health (and the health of their loved ones), they may also be struggling with childcare or financial issues. Managing their working day amidst all these additional challenges can be stressful, especially for those who are now working in a very different way to what they are used to.

At Copart, we believe that recognition and appreciation is essential for boosting the morale and wellbeing of our people. Our Superstar Scheme, which was launched in 2019 to replace our previous scheme, enables our employees and customers to nominate any teammate who has gone above and beyond, regardless of their job role.

Each quarter, we select Superstar Winners from across all areas of our business, who have exceeded the expectations of their normal duties and have demonstrated one or more of our Copart Values.

For Quarter 3, we had 26 Superstar Award winners, which is the highest number we have ever awarded in a quarter.

Karen Langley, Communications Manager, said:

“We are delighted to recognise a record number of teammates for Superstar Awards this quarter, who have continued to demonstrate the Copart Spirit despite difficult circumstances.

“It’s been fantastic to see how well teammates have adapted to a ‘new normal’ and it’s been the incredible efforts made by so many people across our business that has enabled us to adapt and maintain services to our customers.”

We’ve been able to not only adapt in our ways of working, but also adapt the scheme to ensure that we can continue to recognise our teammates, whether through socially distanced Superstar presentations or video calls.

“It’s really demonstrated how our Superstar Awards are more important now than ever, as they provide vital motivation and lift spirits during the unique challenges of this pandemic, and it’s great to see how pleased recipients feel when they are given a Superstar Award !”

Congratulations to all our Quarter 3 winners!
