This week, we held our first auctions at our brand-new Operation Centre in St Helens, Merseyside.
Hot on the heels of Gloucester, St Helens is the second new Copart Operation Centre to open its doors this year and is a substantial addition our operational network, boosting our vehicle storage capacity by 50% in the northwest.
We’ve been investing heavily into acquiring land and expanding our existing sites, to enable growth, handle increasing EV volumes, and expand the reach of our industry-leading emergency response services.
Jane Pocock, CEO of Copart UK and Ireland, said:
It’s been a very exciting week with the first auctions taking place at our St Helens site, which is strategically placed between Manchester and Liverpool and provides further storage capacity for up to 24,000 vehicles in the Northwest.
Copart’s growth strategy continues to gather pace, as we futureproof our business to support the needs of our customers, get even closer to our communities, and reduce road miles for our customers, buyers, and transport fleet.
St Helens is the fourth new Copart Operation Centre to open its doors in the last 18 months, joining Corby, East Kilbride, and Gloucester.
Auctions will be held every Monday and Wednesday at this location, providing a huge range of vehicles for our customers to bid on and buy every week.
