Due to our ongoing growth and success, we’re looking for enthusiastic, methodical, and motivated individuals to join us as Account Executives in our Insurance Sales team.

Account Executives – Insurance Sales

  • Salary: £25,000 pa

Based at our head office in Wootton (Bedford), our growing insurance sales department plays a vital role within our business, maintaining and growing relationships with our insurance customers and ensuring that they (and their policy holders) receive world-class levels of service.

In this role, you will be allocated a portfolio of customer accounts and will become their point of contact. Working closely with our National Account Managers on a day-to-day basis, you’ll provide dedicated support services, resolve account issues, and provide updates.

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multi-task are essential as you will be responsible for ensuring that all their requirements are implemented effectively, and that their queries are answered promptly and politely.

The ability to develop relationships and rapport to ensure that your customers feel valued is essential, so you must be a confident communicator with a ‘can-do’ attitude. You will be expected to attend and support customer account reviews, events, and training (some of which will require overnight stays).

Describe a typical working day for a Copart Account Executive…

No two working days are the same. It’s such a varied role where you can be involved in just about everything. Our customers are our focus, so a lot of time is spent maintaining relationships with existing customers and building relationships with new ones. Relationships with our internal teammates are equally as important too. As the go-to person for the customer accounts I look after, I am on hand to help them with any queries or service requests they have.

 

Which part of your job do you enjoy the most and why?

The team environment is great, everyone supports each other and there is always someone ready and willing to help if needed. I also love having the opportunity to visit customers and I have been to a few different cities for meetings. It’s always nice to have the chance to spend time with our customers and build on those relationships.

What sort of person makes a successful Account Executive?

Being a confident communicator is an extremely important part of the role. Talking to customers on the phone and in person is crucial for relationship building. It’s a fast-paced and exciting environment, so I would also say that being adaptable and having a ‘can do’ approach is a must!
