We are delighted to announce our new Corporate Partnership with ILC (I Love Claims), the leading forum for UK claims professionals in the Motor, Household, Commercial and Claims Technology sectors.
We’ll be joining a group of leading UK insurance companies including Aviva, LV= and Zurich, to help influence the topics that are shaping our sector of the industry.
The primary aim of ILC is to help individuals and companies operating within the insurance claims industry to be “better tomorrow through what we learn today.” At Copart, part of our ethos is to continually strive to improve what we do and how we do it, so this aligns perfectly with the core values of ILC.
We’re confident that our ongoing investment into learning and development, alongside our Copart Values (which include Act with Integrity, Challenge the Norm and Get Results) places us in a strong position to add value to the forum.
We have, of course, already been a prominent member of the Claims Community for many years. We’ve consistently supported the Annual ILC Day to raise vital funds for their charity partner, the Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity, which provides bespoke support for families who have a child with a serious illness. This could include emotional support, respite, explaining illnesses and treatments and looking after siblings.
In 2020 alone, Copart teammates across 18 UK locations helped to raise over £2,000 by wearing red to work and arranging bake sales, raffles and games. As a company with a well-established culture that is committed to charitable giving, we have always enjoyed teaming up with other companies from the insurance claims industry to raise money for this fantastic charity.
We’re now pleased to further strengthen our relationship with ILC with this Corporate Partnership, which will enable us to collaborate closely with our fellow partners and support a shared vision to make the claims industry ‘better tomorrow’. As a forward thinking and innovative company, we are keen to bring our ideas to the table and share our thoughts on the issues and challenges facing the industry.
As a new Corporate Partner, we are delighted to be able to contribute to ILC’s regular Arc 360 digital webinars and share our expertise on a range of industry related topics. These webinars are a recent addition and have been very well received. They help to keep the industry updated and informed, which is particularly important during the ongoing challenges of covid-19.
Managing Director for Copart UK & Ireland, Jane Pocock, recently took part in her first ILC webinar ‘Coronavirus and its impact on the industry’, to discuss how the automotive repair industry is re-emerging in the wake of the pandemic.
Jane said:
“We’re very proud to have joined ILC as part of their select group of Corporate Partners, who are all considered to be the most respected and forward-thinking organisations within the claims industry. We’re looking forward to sharing our extensive expertise and experience with our partners and being a key player in driving change, attitudes and improvements.”
