Having officially purchased Hills Salvage and Recycling – The Green Parts Specialists, we are now in the process of leveraging the brand alongside our well-established nationwide infrastructure to offer the UK’s largest inventory of quality assured green parts.
This opens up a tremendous opportunity to offer an unparalleled service to the UK insurance and repair industry and we’re incredibly excited about the opportunities this will bring to our existing customers and the wider market.
Timing, as they say, is everything. We’ve seen huge demand for green parts solutions from both our buyers and sellers, and many of our insurance partners have taken an increasing interest in using green parts for repairs.
So, it’s certainly an opportune time for us to announce our further expansion into the green parts market, and it also supports our ongoing commitment to both global sustainability and becoming a more sustainable business in line with our Plan-Net-Zero programme.
Managing Director Ian Hills and his team (rebranding to The Green Parts Specialists), will continue to run this new partnership venture as a Copart business alongside our existing salvage and automotive capabilities, retaining all existing employees and expertise.
