Delivering Solutions Through Our 2024 Total Loss Seminar

In November we welcomed partners to Copart’s annual Total Loss Seminar and, as always, there was plenty on the agenda!

This event provides a valuable opportunity to discuss the challenges our partners are facing in relation to total loss and how Copart are on hand to offer solutions through our ongoing investment into our operational capabilities and services.

As well as analysing the latest market trends and insights, sharing operational updates, and presenting a tech showcase, there were dedicated sessions throughout the day which focused on how we are always moving forward for our customers.

Speakers from our Senior Management Team took to the stage, joined by special guests from Thatcham, Consumer Intelligence, and The Green Parts Specialists.

There were updates on our Land & Expand strategy, demonstrating how we’re boosting vehicle storage capacity and getting even closer to our customers and communities.

  • New Operation Centres open in Corby, East Kilbride, Gloucester and St Helens.
  • New Operation Centres announced in Andover, Chelmsford and Dunfermline.
  • Expansions completed at nine of our existing Operation Centres.

We also discussed in detail how Copart is continuing to invest in our technology, additional services, and fleet to provide insurers and their policyholders with the very best experience throughout the total loss claims journey.

  • Unique Euro 6 compliant transport fleet with specialised capabilities
  • State of the art telematics and route scheduling tech for optimal efficiency
  • Expanding suite of tech for our customers to drive speed and ease

And of course, sustainability was a hot topic of the day, and we were delighted to showcase the operational capabilities of The Green Parts Specialists, who talked us through the dismantling process and the undeniable benefits of using recycled parts.

We shared updates on our ESG commitments and the range of exciting projects we have launched across both our Plan-Net-Zero and Copart Cares strategies.

We also took the opportunity to look at the changes and challenges across the industry covering topics such as the impact of consumer duty and the electric vehicle revolution.

It was fantastic to have so many exciting things to share with our insurance partners and we had phenomenal levels of engagement from all who attended.

We’ll now be focusing on analysing and implementing suggestions that came out of the day and we’re already looking forward to our 2025 seminar!
