We’re delighted to share the news that Copart-sponsored driver Louis Foster will be racing full-time in America this year, in the Indy Pro 2000 Championship.
After finishing second overall in the Euroformula Open Championship last year, Louis moved to the US to continue his college education. Alongside studying business, he has continued his racing career stateside joining the Indy Pro 2000 Championship with Exclusive Autosport.

The Indy Pro 2000 series is the second on the ladder of progression known as the “Road to Indy”. Drivers start in USF2000, then progress up to Indy Pro 2000 and Indy Lights before heading to IndyCar, which is considered the biggest single seater racing championship series outside of Formula One.
Louis will spend his rookie year building his confidence and familiarising himself with some very different tracks and circuits than he is used to, with a view to moving up to the Indy Lights Championship next year.

During the season, Louis will take on both street courses and oval racing courses for the very first time, which will require him to develop both new skill sets and new car set-ups. But of course, he is looking forward to taking on the challenge!
“One of the interesting aspects of racing here is that it tests drivers on road courses, street courses and ovals. It’s a true test of a driver. It’s something totally new for me, and there’s no doubt it will be tough learning about the car geometry and how to work with my engineer to get comfortable in this new kind of racing.” – Louis Foster
The first races take place in St Petersburg, Florida, from 25th to 27th February, and the season concludes in September.
