We’re thrilled to announce that Copart’s 3 Peaks Challenge has raised £5,000 for Ben Automotive Charity.
Over the course of one weekend in July, Team Copart tackled the three highest peaks in Scotland, England, and Wales: Ben Nevis (1,345m), Scafell Pike (978m) and Snowdon (1,085m).
Our team took on the challenge to raise money for Ben, which we adopted as our company charity in 2015, as part of their Do It 4 Ben campaign.
Ben provides a fantastic range of free and confidential health and wellbeing services to people working, or who have previously worked, in the automotive industry.
Their services include emotional and financial support for families impacted by illness or accidents, and confidential advice and counselling for a wide range of mental health issues.
Copart teammates and their families are very fortunate to have access to Ben’s services, so we were delighted to be able to give something back in appreciation of their ongoing support and help to bridge the gap caused by the cancellation this years’ usual large scale Ben fundraising events.
Thanks to the generosity of donations from teammates, friends and families, and local businesses – we ended up absolutely smashing our original £1,000 target with a final fundraising total of £5,000!
