We are delighted to announce that over 100 Copart UK employees have celebrated Long Service milestones this year.
At Copart, we consider Long Service Awards to be one of the most important forms of recognition. They reward our teammates for their dedication and loyalty to our business and are a perfect way to reflect our Copart Value ‘Celebrate our People’, which is deeply embedded into our culture.
This year, we even have a brand-new Long Service milestone, as we celebrate our very first 40 years’ service employee!
Our celebrations, which normally take place at Easter each year, were a little different this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. But, thanks to an innovative mixture of socially distanced presentations at our Operation Centres and virtual presentations for our home workers, we have now given out over 100 Long Service Awards.
Copart teammates who have completed 5, 10, 15 and 20 years’ continuous service receive a certificate and shopping vouchers, which are presented to them by their Regional Manager or line manager at their usual place of work.
We also hold an annual off-site Long Service Awards Lunch to celebrate with teammates who have 25 years or more continuous service. When a teammate achieves 25 years’ service, they and their partner are automatically invited to all future lunches. All new attendees receive a certificate and John Lewis vouchers.
This year we would have welcomed three new teammates to the event, which sadly had to be cancelled, but we made sure that these very special awards were presented…and we look forward to celebrating properly at next year’s event!
