The UK car parc is growing and diversifying at pace, alongside a huge rise in extreme weather events. We know how important it is to stay ahead of demand and be there for our customers when needed to collect, handle, and store vehicles quickly.
That’s why we’re continuing to invest into land acquisition and the extension and improvement of our existing Operation Centres across the UK.
We’ve been busy expanding and improving our sites in Bristol, Rochford, Sandtoft, Sandy, Peterlee, Hixon and Wisbech – adding even more auctions to our calendar and putting your vehicles in front of an even bigger audience than ever before.
Earlier this month we opened the doors to yet another new Copart Operation Centre in Gloucester and have already held our first auction.
This 30-acre former Cazoo site has significantly boosted our vehicle storage capacity in the Southwest of England, providing storage for an additional 30,000 vehicles per annum.
And we’re also gearing up to open our St Helens Operation Centre this summer. This 16-acre site, strategically placed between Manchester and Liverpool, will increase capacity for our customers operating in the Northwest by 50%.
Alongside our other recently opened sites in Corby and East Kilbride, we’re excited to be in closer proximity to more communities and customers than ever before, ready and prepared to provide our expertise and support whenever we are needed.
It’s all part of our ‘Land and Expand’ strategy, which we continue to push forward with. We’re committed to supporting our customers by enabling growth, the handling of EVs and other specialist vehicles, and increased volumes due to floods, storms, and other unexpected events.
And we want to keep moving forward, always. We’ll continue to grow our operational network, giving you reassurance that Copart is always close by to provide you with rapid response, industry leading services, and unrivalled UK-wide storage capacity.
