Introducing our Latest Community Partnerships

by | Sep 13, 2023

We’re delighted to have formed many new community partnerships in 2023, further supporting our Copart Cares 💙 commitment to good causes.

Providing sponsorship for groups and clubs within the communities in which we operate is a fantastic way for us to build local relationships and support causes that are important to our teammates and customers.

New for 2023, here are some the latest community partnerships we have established.

Libra Lea Netball Club

We’re delighted to provide sponsorship for this small developing netball club in the Wombourne area which is close to the heart of one of our Copart Wolverhampton teammates.

We’ll be helping to enable further growth for the club by contributing to the rising costs of training facilities and coaching qualifications, specifically level 2 coaching courses for senior players to support their increasing junior membership.

The Copart logo will be proudly displayed on club hoodies and dresses, which will be widely worn by the club members in both training, matches, tournaments and outside playing.

With squads in the West Midlands Regional League (Div 2), Wolverhampton and Dudley Leagues it will be a great opportunity for regional brand awareness.

Wombourne Allstars FC

Another new sponsorship with a connection to Copart’s Wolverhampton OC is this football club located in the same village, providing another great way for us to give back to the local community.

Established in 2020, Wombourne Allstars FC is growing rapidly so we’re pleased to support with the costs of equipment and kits. They plan to have over 30 teams in two years’ time and hope to eventually purchase their own grounds.

“Thank you for agreeing to sponsor one of the Wombourne Allstars teams. As a grassroots football club run entirely by volunteers, your contribution is hugely appreciated. Womourne had been crying out for a football club for years.  We love to see the children enjoying socialising and playing sport in the village and it’s been a long time overdue.”

The club will generate plenty of online awareness for Copart as their men’s 1st team, who play in the non-league pyramid on a Saturday afternoon, post their game highlights onto YouTube and social media, where they have over 2k followers.

We are looking forward to hearing about the club’s summer tournament where teams from across the Midlands will be taking part and ‘player of the match’ will stand with a Copart banner!

Kempston Athletic FC

This newly founded team in Kempston, Bedford is local to our Wootton HQ and Customer Excellence Centre and one of our Wootton teammates is a member.

We were very impressed with the team’s recent charity fundraising efforts, holding an event that raised over £4k for Blood Cancer UK.

The Copart logo will be on the team’s kit as well as heavily featured on match days, social media, and future charity events.

Minster FC

We’ve partnered with Minster Football Club, which was established in 1911 and is one of the oldest registered clubs in Kent, UK.

We’re supporting this community club, which has a personal connection to our customers and is also in close proximity to Copart’s Sandwich OC, by sponsoring football team training kits and warm up shirts across three squads.

The club has had a really successful season for their first team as well as further establishment of their other senior teams and the club as a whole, which has been fantastic to see.

“Thank you Copart UK for your support over this last season in terms of both finances with the training/warm-up kit and the online support through the social media channels. It doesn’t go unnoticed and hopefully you will have seen the coverage that we are getting online for both the club and our sponsors.”

Newport Cycle Speedway Club

We’re pleased to be sponsoring team shirts for the men and boy’s teams at Newport Cycle Speedway Club, an accredited British Go-Ride club.

Go-Ride is British Cycling’s development programme for young people, delivered by Welsh Cycling in Wales. The programme is aimed at ensuring young people have a safe, structured and well organised club to take part in the sport of cycling.

One of our teammates has a family connection with the team and it’s also a great opportunity for us to raise Copart’s profile in the South Wales area, which will no doubt be aided by our presence on an advertising board at the club’s track in Nash, Newport!

We’re looking forward to longstanding, successful community partnerships with these clubs and to celebrating their future achievements!
