Our community partnerships are going from strength-to-strength in 2023 and it’s been fantastic to see the Copart logo being proudly displayed on sports kits across the UK this summer!
Our continued sponsorship of local sports clubs across the UK is just one element of our Copart Cares 💙 commitment to local communities and good causes.
We’re passionate about building and maintaining strong relationships within the communities in which we operate, and supporting activities and causes that are important to our teammates and customers.
As we continue into the summer, here are some updates from just a few of our local community partnerships…
Armadale Thistle
We are currently sponsoring the Armadale Thistle Football Club U17’s junior team, who play in Scotland’s West Lothian League (WLAYFC).
Our Whitburn Operation Centre is only four miles away from the club grounds, where one of our teammates is the Club Secretary/Treasurer and her son plays for the team.
The team is currently sitting at the top of the B league after a fantastic winning streak against Shotts and Linlithgow Rose Whites and are now in the midst of playing in the league cup.
Harold Wood Cougars
Our sponsorship of the U15 Reds team at Harold Wood Cougars Youth Football Club in Essex is helping us to form strong links with the local community close to our Rochford Operation Centre.
We are also pleased to support a cause that is close to the heart of one of our insurance customers.
The team recently competed in a tournament at the home ground of Norwich city FC. They performed amazingly and reached the final and there are two further tournaments scheduled for August.
Saintfield United
Copart is the primary sponsor of the senior teams at SUFC (a community football club in Saintfield, County Down, local to our Operation Centre in Belfast, Northern Ireland) and we’ve also invested into the junior teams and programmes through a partnership with CashForCars.co.uk.
CashforCars.co.uk sponsored the club’s annual Mini Soccer BBQ, which celebrated a great year so far for the thriving soccer groups.
Belfast General Manager Ricky McCaughran attended the club’s Mental Health evening, where the U13s and U11s were visited by TAMHI, a charity based in Northern Ireland that works with sports clubs and groups to raise awareness of mental health and resilience.
We also recently supported the club’s annual Mental Health Wellbeing Walk and celebrated the 350th appearance of long-time player Ryan Sofely.
We’re looking forward to sharing more updates about our community partnerships with you soon!
