Copart-sponsored driver and reigning Indy Pro champion Louis Foster heads to Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama this weekend for the second round of the Indy NXT series.
Louis kicked off his Indy NXT debut last month in St Petersburg in perfect fashion with a pole position, so will be hoping to turn his qualifying pace into big points this weekend as he continues his championship bid.
A familiar style of track will also be a huge benefit, with European drivers usually performing well at this 2.4-mile venue.
“Barber is an event I can really look forward to. The style of the track is really fast and flowing, it reminds me of the tracks back home and some of the European tracks I’ve raced at in the past.
Hopefully it’s somewhere we can have a strong weekend and my driving style suits the circuit. It’s a really cool track.
It’s the perfect place to put some points on the board, and work hard with the team to improve on some of the areas we know we need to work on after St Petersburg.”
Here’s a message from Louis to tell you all about how his training has been going and how determined he is to bring back a podium for #TeamCopart! 💙
