Yard Operative
Roles available at: Bristol, Chester, Newbury, Peterlee, Sandtoft, Sandy, Westbury, Wolverhampton, and York
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a keen interest in vehicles, as you’ll be handling a wide range of types and models from Fords to Ferraris, and BMWs to Bugatti’s!
You’ll be responsible for taking images and completing basic vehicle information and documentation on handheld devices. You’ll also need to ensure that all vehicles are handled and stored in line with Copart’s standards and our customers’ requirements. All the training you need will be provided and we have a range of apprenticeships on offer to help you further your career.
LGV Driver
Roles available at: Bristol, Chester, Newbury, Rochford, Sandtoft, Sandwich, Sandy, Westbury, Wolverhampton, and York
We are currently seeking experienced HGV/LGV Drivers to join our team! Working mostly Monday to Friday you’ll benefit from a better work/life balance and have more time – whether it’s for raising a family, hobbies or for relaxation. Plus, there’s the opportunity to earn an additional quarterly performance related bonus!
You’ll be loading, collecting, and delivering vehicles of all shapes, sizes, and conditions and therefore the role can be physically demanding. In addition to the relevant licenses, we’re seeking individuals with experience in both rural and urban environments as well as great communication and customer service skills.
Customer Service Advisor
Roles available at: Bristol, Chester, Colchester, Newbury, Peterlee Call Centre, Rochford, Sandtoft, Sandwich, Sandy, Whitburn, Wolverhampton, and York
As a Customer Service Advisor, you’ll often be the first point of contact for our customers and will play a key role in the success of our business, so you’ll need to have excellent customer service skills and a professional telephone manner.
Your main duties will include responding to customer enquiries and requests, handling incoming phone calls, making outgoing phone calls to arrange vehicle collections, and a range of other administrative duties. You’ll enjoy great benefits including Monday to Friday working, uniform, free company events, and ongoing support with your personal development.
Yard Manager
Roles available at: York
As Yard Manager, you’ll lead the yard team in York and support the General Manager in ensuring that Copart processes and procedures are followed. You’ll be responsible for the supervision, hiring, training, development, and motivation of all yard teammates to maximise productivity and meet our high customer service standards.
You’ll be managing the day-to-day operations of the yard, including the receiving/storing of vehicles, auction set-up, and vehicle documentation, as well as dealing with any issues that arise and ensuring that a safe working environment is established and maintained.
Fitter
Roles available at: Chester
We’re seeking an experienced Fitter/ Vehicle Technician, to take responsibility for the pre-service and maintenance of fleet, plant, and yard equipment at our Chester Operation Centre. You’ll take ownership of fleet and prepare trucks for six weekly safety inspections using Copart’s pre-inspection check sheet.
Ideally, you’ll have experience working on car transporters, hydraulic systems, forklift trucks and agricultural machinery.
Facility Transport Manager
Roles available at: Newbury
Do you have experience in Transport Management, and want to work for a global organisation who can support you with your career progression? We’re seeking a Facility Transport Manager to manage the productivity and performance of 16 professional drivers working out of our Newbury Operation Centre.
You’ll manage transport related challenges and costings and ensure that the drivers fully comply with all relevant legislation and meet required productivity levels, whilst delivering a high standard of customer service to both internal and external customers.
