Copart’s continued expansion sparks major recruitment drive

We’re currently experiencing an exciting period of growth and are actively recruiting for a wide range of roles.

With our Head Office and Customer Excellence Centre in Bedford, and one of our 15 nationwide Operation Centres located in Sandy, we are proud to be a major employer for Beds, Herts, Bucks and Northants.

Our strong recruitment drive is the result of an ambitious reinvestment strategy, which combines a programme of land acquisition, continuous improvement at existing sites, and extensive reinvestment in our transport, services, and technology.

Our nationwide operational capabilities remain unrivalled, with circa. 1200 employees and 18 locations strategically positioned across the UK & Ireland spanning just under 400 acres.

This year alone, we have announced further expansions at our Operation Centres in Bristol, Sandy, Wisbech and York, as well as plans for a new 31-acre site in East Kilbride, which will double our operational capabilities in Scotland.

The driving force behind our ambitious growth plan is our focus on always delivering consistent value for our customers along with world-class levels of service. We achieve this through the continuous improvement and expansion of the range of value-added services we offer.

We have recruited over 130 new roles within the business over the past two years to support the continued expansion of our network of Operation Centres, and the opening of both our Peterlee Contact Centre and Customer Excellence Centre in Bedford.

Many brand-new specialist positions have also been created at our Head Office within our Finance, Marketing, Human Resources and Member Services teams, as the range of services we offer continues to expand in line with customer demand. This has included the introduction of two positions in our Senior Management Team, Head of Central Operations and Head of Performance, Quality, & Risk.
