We’re delighted to announce that Copart-sponsored driver Louis Foster will be racing as part of the CryptoTower Racing Team in the Euroformula Open Championship 2021.
Reigning champion CryptoTower Racing Team was the first Japanese team to enter Euroformula Open and already has a fantastic track record. They joined last year, backed by the prestigious Motopark Academy, winning the championship on their first attempt.
The Motopark team’s experience in developing young talent should be the perfect place for the ambitious Foster to reach his potential.
A multiple winner in the 2020 BRDC British Formula 3, Louis balanced his studies at Wandsworth College alongside his racing to finish in third position and be named the championship’s best rookie.
Having raced for Double R in his first two seasons of single-seater racing in the UK, the ambitious Brit will maintain his record of making a huge step up in series each year, racing in Europe full-time for the first time in his career in 2021.
“I am really excited about racing Euroformula with CryptoTower Racing Team. I am ready for this next step in my career, and I can’t wait to start working with Motopark in preparation for the season ahead.
I would like to thank my sponsors Copart, Chambers, Poggesi, Prosperity and Novara for their support this year. I really appreciate their commitment to me and it’s great to have them all onboard and part of my team.”
Louis Foster
The pandemic caused much disruption to the 2020 season, but Louis showed his usual determination and still managed to make an impact, winning races in the Australasia-based MRF Challenge and making an appearance in the Euroformula Open Championship where he won on his debut at Spa.
We’re very proud of our winning partnership with Louis and we’re sure he is going to be a strong contender for the 2021 Euroformula Open championship. Here at Copart UK and across our other European locations, we’ll be cheering him on as always!
The championship is set to compete at nine venues in 2021 with 27 races across Europe.
The first round will take place in May 2021 at Portimao (Portugal), on the same weekend as Formula 1, which will provide some fantastic exposure both Louis and the Copart brand!
