Copart teammates across our 18 UK locations took part in Christmas Jumper Day to raise funds for Save the Children.
We’re very proud to have established a culture that is committed to charitable giving, and as well as supporting individual local initiatives, we always enjoy the chance to work together across the UK to support national charitable events.
On December 11th, Copart teammates got into the festive spirit and took part in Save the Children’s annual Christmas Jumper Day. Teammates made a £2 donation to wear a Christmas jumper, and raised additional funds with bake sales, raffles, and games.
Christmas Jumper Day is an annual event where millions of people across the UK put on a Christmas jumper to raise money for Save the Children. All proceeds go towards helping the charity bring essential food, healthcare, education, and protection to millions of children around the world who are missing out.
Although many of our Head Office teammates are currently working from home due to the pandemic, we didn’t let this stop us and there were lots of wonderful woollies on show thanks to Zoom and Teams video calls!
Jane Pocock, Managing Director of Copart UK, said:
“Copart UK has proudly supported Christmas Jumper Day for many years and it’s a great opportunity to bring everyone together for a worthy cause. With many teammates remote working, it was a perfect way for everyone to feel connected and have some fun, while raising money for an amazing charity.”
