We’re delighted to have renewed our sponsorship contract with Saintfield United Football Club in Northern Ireland for the next five years, supporting our Copart Cares 💙 commitment to our local communities.
Copart has been the primary sponsor of SUFC (a local community football club in Saintfield, County Down) since 2018.
We’re passionate about playing an active role in supporting local communities and good causes, so our ongoing sponsorship of SUFC is a perfect way for us to achieve this.
The new sponsorship agreement includes an increased investment from Copart, as we seek to further strengthen our bond with the community, which is local to our Operation Centre in Belfast.
As well as Copart becoming a shared sponsor of the men’s senior team, the CashForCars arm of our business will be sponsoring the Saintfield United Youth Team and the kid’s summer scheme to encourage children to keep active.
Since it was founded in 1972, SUFC has been centric to the Saintfield community, providing opportunities for all ages groups to participate in amateur football, including senior, junior, and mini soccer teams.
We’ve proudly watched the Club go from strength to strength over the last five years and have enjoyed supporting them at events including their annual mini-soccer awards BBQ and Wellbeing Walk for Action Mental Health.
Over the next five years, we’re excited to support their ambitious five-year development plan, which was launched last year, come to life.
This will include growing participation numbers through events and activities, achieving maximum returns from any facility investments, and ensuring that the Club remains a focal point for the local community.
Ricky McCaughran, General Manager at Copart Belfast said:
“Our ongoing partnership with SUFC is great way for us to engage with the community close to our Operation Centre in Belfast and enhance Copart’s presence in the area. We’re pleased to have signed up as primary sponsor for another five years and hope we can help to play a part in their future success and growth.
We’re especially happy to be investing into the youth teams and programmes under our renewed agreement. We’re looking forward to seeing the Club achieve great things over the next five years and we’re thrilled to be on the journey with them!”
